Renée Ọmọladé (Omolade) has a diverse work experience that spans various organizations and roles. Renée is currently working as the Senior Director of Community Schools at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay since 2024. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder of Listen to Your Mothers in 2023. In 2016, Renée worked as the Director of Program Operations & Management at Black Girls Rock! Renée also has experience working in the education sector, where they served as the Director of Boston Community Hub Schools at Boston Public Schools from 2021 to 2024. Before that, they held roles such as District Hub Schools Coordinator and Partnerships and Alumni Engagement Manager at Boston Public Schools. Renée is also a Co-Founder and Chairwoman of We Are The Ones, an organization that advocates for excellence for young people in Boston's urban neighborhoods. Renée has also held roles at Lewis Family Foundation, Aramark, BLACK GIRLS ROCK!, and Crittenton Women's Union. Throughout their career, Renée has demonstrated their passion for empowerment, community engagement, and social justice.
Renée Ọmọladé (Omolade) obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services from Emmanuel College in 2014. Renée also earned a Bachelor's Degree with a minor in African Studies from Simmons University in the same year. Prior to their college education, they received a High School Diploma from Boston Latin School in 2010. In addition to their formal education, Renée has obtained several certifications, including Narrative 4 Story Teller from Narrative 4, Facilitative Leader for Social Change from the Interaction Institute for Social Change, and Data Analytics from General Assembly. Renée also holds a ServSafe certification from ServSafe Certified, obtained in April 2014.
