Ian Michael James

Ian Michael James has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Most recently, they are employed as the Director of Data and Technology at United Way of Metro Chicago. Prior to this, Ian worked at Unite Us and NowPow, where they held positions such as Senior Manager - Quality Assurance, Taxonomy Analyst, Intervention Architect, Customer Support & Taxonomy Manager, Customer Support Manager, Quality & Training Manager, and Community Resources Team Lead. Apart from their professional work, Ian was an Ensemble Member and Resident Playwright at Mercy Street Theatre Company and an Associate Artistic Director and Resident Dramaturg at No Stakes Theater Project. Ian Michael also has previous experience at Chili's as a Host/To Go Specialist/Server and at S.E. Gross Middle School as a Summer Custodian.

Ian Michael James obtained their Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago, during the period from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma from Naperville Central High School, where the field of study is not specified. Additionally, Ian Michael James attained a certification as a Community Resource Specialist - Database Curator from the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) in June 2023.
