Isaac Smoak

Isaac Smoak holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Wheaton College and has extensive experience in community development and economic support for small businesses. Currently serving as the Director of Community Development at United Way of Metro Chicago since June 2024, Isaac is also a member of the Young Professionals Board at Between Friends. Previously, Isaac was the Director of Access to Capital Programs and Services at the Women's Business Development Center, where guidance was provided to small business owners for optimal funding options. Other notable roles include Director of Community Impact at World Business Chicago, Community Lender at Allies for Community Business, and various leadership positions at Heaven's Family Microloan Ministry. Prior to entering community and economic development, Isaac gained experience in sales, teaching, and media production.
