Dr. Ari Rosner-Salazar has a diverse and extensive work experience. They served as the Director of Community Outreach & Partnerships at the United Way of North Central New Mexico, where they led a team and established relationships with funders to address historical inequities. Prior to this role, they worked at Central New Mexico Community College as the Director of the Global Education Office, overseeing the international student program and organizing cultural activities. They also served as the International Student Success Team Leader and Student Success Team Leader at the same institution, providing support and supervision for student services.
Earlier in their career, Dr. Rosner-Salazar was the Director of Recruitment & Student Outreach at the Community College of Denver, contributing to the growth of student enrollment. They also served as the Program Director at YouthBiz, Inc., managing programs that taught business and leadership skills to low-income youth. Before that, they worked as a Counselor in various roles at the University of California at Santa Barbara, providing support and guidance to low-income and first-generation students.
Dr. Ari Rosner-Salazar obtained a Ph.D. degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Colorado State University in 2018. Before that, they earned an M.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara between 1993 and 1996. Their undergraduate studies were conducted at Amherst College, where they received a B.A. in Sociology from 1989 to 1993. Prior to their college education, Dr. Rosner-Salazar completed their high school diploma at Benjamin Banneker High School from 1985 to 1989.
