Amanda Krause DiScala serves as the Director of Early Childhood Education and Childcare Initiatives for United Way of Northern New Jersey since March 2021, after previously holding roles in child care specialization and shared resources program management. Experience includes positions at the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children and an adjunct professor role at County College of Morris from January 2012 to May 2020. Additionally, Amanda held the position of Director at Bridges to Learning from June 2003 to March 2019. Amanda earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Walden University and holds an Ed.M. in Literacy from Rutgers Graduate School of Education, a K-6 Certification from The College of St Elizabeth, and a degree in Psychology from the University of Scranton.
