Elizabeth Garbe

Elizabeth Garbe has a diverse range of work experience in the public policy and health sectors. Elizabeth started their career as a Fundraising Consultant at Miles Consulting in 2004, where they researched funding opportunities and wrote proposals for local non-profit organizations. Elizabeth then became a Policy Analyst at Colorado Community Health Network, where they coordinated organizational involvement in the successful passage of ballot initiatives and created a grassroots advocacy network. In 2007, they joined Utah Health Policy Project as the Director of Coverage Initiatives, where they developed and implemented health system reform policies and served as a spokesperson. Currently, they are the Vice President of Public Policy at United Way of Salt Lake, responsible for creating and implementing policy agendas, educating and engaging donors in advocacy work, and organizing various events for stakeholders. Overall, Elizabeth Garbe has demonstrated expertise in policy development and implementation, coalition-building, and fundraising within the public and non-profit sectors.

Elizabeth Garbe has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver: Graduate School of Social Work. Elizabeth also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies and Religious Studies (Double major) from Colby College.
