Leigh Harris currently serves as the Board Liaison and Executive Assistant to the CEO at United Way of San Diego County, effective April 2018, where responsibilities include enhancing communication and collaboration between the CEO and executives, as well as engaging external stakeholders to fulfill organizational objectives. In addition to this role, Leigh has been a Career Coach since 2007, providing guidance to over 75 job seekers in presenting their employment materials and navigating labor laws. Previously, Leigh worked as an Editor/Writer, Communications Manager at Sacre-Davey Group, and held various roles in HR and training at Sprott Shaw College. Educational qualifications include a Master Practitioner of Evolved NLP, a Diploma in Modern Human Resource Management, and other certifications in HR and personal development, alongside a degree in Psychology and English from The University of British Columbia.
