Amina Omar

Amina Omar is an accomplished professional in community development and resiliency, currently serving as the Director of Community Resiliency at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey since April 2021. Amina's prior experience includes roles as Project Manager at IQVIA, Community/Economic Development Associate at the City of Hagerstown, and Program Assistant for Economic Opportunity at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Amina also worked as a Project Coordinator at CADCOM and as a Free-Lunch Coordinator at the Frederick County Action Agency. Amina holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Growth and Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College, with additional educational experiences at Carnegie Mellon University and Temple University.
