Yaminah Martin is an experienced advocate with a strong background in social work and community engagement. Current roles include Advocate at Advocacy & Protective Services, Inc. and Family Justice Court Advocate at the Battered Women's Shelter & Rape Crisis Center. Yaminah has facilitated programs focused on poverty alleviation through positions at United Way of Summit County and ICAN Housing Solutions. Previous experience includes serving as an Academic Tutor, Life Link Community Health Worker, and an AmeriCorps VISTA Leader, among other roles in community support and child advocacy with Summit County Juvenile Courts. Yaminah holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Akron.
