Chip Hurd started their work experience in 2012 as the Director of Development, Orthopaedics at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. In 2015, they joined the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley as the Vice President, Resource Development and Marketing. In February 2019, Chip was promoted to Chief Philanthropy Officer at the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
Chip Hurd completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications from Muhlenberg College between 1982 and 1986. Chip later pursued further education, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Communications from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1990.
