Roberta MacHin

Roberta Machin is an experienced professional with a background in community development and outreach. Currently serving as an Americorps VISTA at the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley since November 2019, Roberta oversees Title 1 compliance at Freemansburg Elementary School, facilitates after-school programs, and engages with community stakeholders to address school needs. Previous experience includes a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Chester County Department of Community Development, where Roberta was involved in grant writing, event planning, community outreach, and volunteer coordination. Additional roles include customer service positions at Wegmans Food Markets, Party City, and CVS/pharmacy, as well as a Communications Intern at Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity, focusing on donor relations and newsletter management. Roberta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Creative Writing from Franklin & Marshall College and a high school diploma from Nazareth Area High School.
