Gia Stokes has extensive experience in finance and administration, with a focus on non-profit organizations. GIA most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at United Way of the Mid-South, where they were responsible for financial management. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Finance and Facilities at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools. Gia also has previous experience as the Chief Financial Officer at Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, SHIELDS for Families, and Bet Tzedek Legal Services. GIA has a strong background in financial planning, strategic development, and grant acquisition. Earlier in their career, Gia served as the Chief Financial Officer at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, where they successfully managed large-scale affordable housing projects. Gia Stokes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Accounting from California State University-Dominguez Hills between 1985 and 1990. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Administration/Information Management at California State University-San Bernardino, which they completed between 1994 and 1996.
