Nicole Cooper

Nicole Cooper, DrPH, MPH, currently serves as the Chief External Affairs & Transformation Officer at United Way of the National Capital Area, a position held since April 2025. Prior to this role, Nicole was the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer & Executive Vice President at United Way Worldwide from April 2023 to April 2025. Nicole's extensive experience in health equity and corporate social responsibility includes significant positions at UnitedHealth Group and Lyft. With a Doctor of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan, Nicole has also contributed as a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and has been a Founding Member at Chief since October 2020.
