Austin Abas

Austin Abas has extensive experience in leadership roles within KPMG Canada, serving as Office Managing Partner and Audit Partner for the Winnipeg office since August 1989. Abas also holds the position of Regional Managing Partner for Regions West, overseeing nine offices in Western Canada, and serves as Chairman of the Board for KPMG Canada and a Board member for KPMG Americas. In addition to responsibilities at KPMG, Abas contributes to the United Way Cabinet as Co-Chair of General Business and has held various roles, including a member of the Major Donor Cabinet and an account executive. Furthermore, Abas is a member of the Board of Directors for the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation and the Alhijra Islamic School. Abas earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Honours) from the University of Manitoba between 1984 and 1989.
