Amy Butler

Amy Butler serves as the Vice President of Foundation Relations at United Way since April 2023. With extensive experience in corporate and foundation relations, Amy previously held the role of Senior Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations at American University, where achievements included establishing the university's first structured Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations and leading interdisciplinary project development. Prior roles include Interim Vice President of Development at PAI - Champions of Global Reproductive Rights, Executive Director of Foundation Relations at George Washington University, and Director of Foundation Relations at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC, Inc. Amy holds a Ph.D. in US History/Legal/Political Movements from Binghamton University and a BA in US History from UCLA.
