Ayeola Fortune

Ayeola Fortune is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational leadership and organizational impact. Currently serving as Vice President at United Way Worldwide since September 2009, Ayeola has held several key positions within the organization, including Interim Senior Vice President of the Impact Team and Senior Director of Impact and Global Results, leading efforts to create performance indicators for education, income, and health. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Extended Learning and Development Opportunities at the Council of Chief State School Officers, where Ayeola developed proposals to enhance federal policy initiatives and supported state education agencies. Ayeola's career began as a High School Teacher at The Ellis School, teaching various history courses. Ayeola holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Lehigh University.
