Julian Pike is an experienced housing professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Housing, Support & Communities at United Welsh since November 2018. Previously, Julian held the position of Housing & Community Safety Manager at Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council from October 2006 to November 2018, where responsibilities included homelessness solutions, housing strategy, and community safety initiatives. Julian's earlier role as Housing Renewal Manager involved securing over £16 million in funding for housing projects and creating strategies for private sector housing improvements. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Management from the University of South Wales and a BSc in Environmental Health from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Julian also has significant experience in customer and stakeholder engagement, project management, and policy development.
