Scott Sadlocha has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to information security and technology. Scott is currently serving as the SVP, Chief Information Security Officer at United Wholesale Mortgage since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of VP, Chief Information Security Officer at the same company from January 2018 to February 2022. Before joining United Wholesale Mortgage, Scott worked as an Information Security Team Lead and Information Security Engineer from 2017 to 2018 at an unspecified company. Scott also served as an IT Security Analyst at United Wholesale Mortgage from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Scott was a Member of the Detroit CISO Governing Body at Evanta, a Gartner Company, starting in March 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Systems Administrator at Tower International from 2004 to 2013, and as a Help Desk Analyst at LDM Technologies from 2000 to 2004. Prior to entering the private sector, they served as a Combat Engineer (Airborne) in the US Army from 1986 to 1989.
Scott Sadlocha earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from Wayne State University between 1997 and 2002. Prior to that, they attended Hamtramck High School from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Scott Sadlocha has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in July 2021, Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E) from Scrum Alliance in December 2020, and Certified Agile Leadership for Orgs (CAL-O) from Scrum Alliance in March 2021.
