Bernie Elliott is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in medical leadership and population health management. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President at UnitedHealthcare Global since May 2018, Bernie has previously held key roles at Optum, including Chief Clinical Officer and Senior Vice President for the Consumer Solutions Group, as well as Chief Medical Officer for Complex Medical Conditions at OptumHealth. Earlier career positions include Senior Medical Director at UnitedHealthcare and Vice President of Medical Management at John Deere Health. Bernie Elliott earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Augustana College.
