Barbara Oppenheim has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Barbara started their career in 2003 as a Staff Nurse and progressed to become an Assistant Nurse Manager at Carolinas Healthcare System. Barbara'sresponsibilities included providing direct patient care, conducting evaluations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. In 2016, they worked as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Queens University of Charlotte, where they supervised and evaluated student learning in a clinical setting.

In 2017, Barbara joined Chamberlain University as an Assistant Dean of Academic Success, where they assessed individual learning needs and provided academic instruction and guidance to students. Barbara later became an Associate Dean of Student Learning, managing a team and reporting weekly on the accomplishments of the Center for Academic Success and SimCare.

Barbara also founded Nurses on Board in 2003, establishing herself as a national NCLEX- RN professional strategist and consultant. Barbara developed a testing curriculum and consulting program to prepare nursing students for standardized exams and state nursing boards.

Currently, Barbara works at Unitek Learning as the Corporate Director of Licensure Success. Barbara'sresponsibilities include designing and monitoring institutional licensure success initiatives and providing support to campus leadership teams and students in preparation for licensure exams.

Barbara Oppenheim has a strong educational background in nursing education. Barbara completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte in the years 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nursing Education from the same institution during the years 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their degrees, Barbara Oppenheim also holds professional certifications. Barbara became a Registered Nurse accredited by the North Carolina Board of Nursing in June 2003. Moreover, they obtained a certification from the CITI Program in May 2020 under their name, Barbara Ellen Oppenheim.

Continuing their educational journey, Barbara Oppenheim is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a specialization in Nursing Education from Capella University. Barbara started their doctoral program in 2018 and is expected to complete it in 2023, further expanding their expertise in the field of nursing education.
