Georga Simmons

Georga Simmons has extensive experience in early childhood education and management, currently serving as Senior Manager Quality and Education at Uniting Vic.Tas since February 2018. Georga oversees a significant operational scope of over 400 staff with a budget of $10 million, leading various early learning services and programs to enhance participation through expert knowledge in early childhood development. Previously, Georga held senior roles at Moonee Valley City Council, including Head of Child Care Services, managing a team of 150 across eight sites with a budget of $15 million, and has contributed to state-wide initiatives and workshops through roles with Local Government Professionals. Georga's educational background includes diplomas and graduate qualifications in early childhood development, special education, and business studies from prestigious institutions such as the University of Melbourne and Swinburne University of Technology.
