Carl Malherbe

Carl Malherbe currently serves as the Executive: Growth at Unitrans, focusing on revenue growth since March 2024. Prior to this, Carl held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Unitrans Food & Consumer from August 2018 to March 2024, where responsibilities included strategic and operational leadership. Earlier roles at Unitrans included Executive: Consumer and Executive: Foods, both of which involved profitability and operational leadership, while also being a member of the Unitrans Executive Committee. Carl's experience extends to GSK as Logistics Lead for Global Manufacturing & Supply, managing substantial supply chain operations, and SABMiller in various logistics and operations roles, including Logistics Manager for Africa. Carl's early career at A.P. Moller-Maersk encompassed business process coordination and business development roles. Carl holds multiple degrees in Logistics Management and Business Administration from institutions including Stellenbosch University and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
