Kobus Du Preez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transport and logistics management. Currently serving as the Group Technical Manager at Unitrans Africa since August 2021, Kobus oversees a fleet of 87 trucks in KwaZulu Natal, focusing on budgets, human resources, maintenance, customer relations, health and safety, and driver training. Prior to this, Kobus held the position of Depot Manager at Interwaste Holdings Limited for a brief period in 2021 and spent over 14 years at Unitrans in various roles, including General Manager and Operations Manager. Kobus's earlier experience includes managing haulage and fuel operations in Lesotho, contributing to significant projects such as the Lesotho Highlands Water project, and serving as an Aircraft Technician in the South African Air Force. Educational credentials include a Diploma in Road Freight from the University of Johannesburg and an N5 qualification in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology.
