Dr. Nimesh Khanal

Dr. Nimesh Khanal is a Hospitalist at Rochester Regional Health, starting in August 2025. Previously, Dr. Khanal served as an Editor for HEALTH FOUNDATION NEPAL INC from May 2021 to September 2025 and as a Resident Physician at Tower Health from June 2022 to June 2025. Dr. Khanal has experience as a Medical Officer at Patan Hospital (October 2021 - April 2022), CREASION (May 2020 - August 2021), and Kanchanjunga Hospital Pvt Ltd (August 2018 - July 2019). The medical journey began with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital (2012 - 2017), following A-levels in Biological and Physical Sciences at Rato Bangala School (2010 - 2012) and a School Leaving Certificate from Galaxy Public School (2006 - 2010). Skills in critical care have been enhanced through intensive care work, with a dedication to providing high-quality care as an aspiring internist.
