Melissa Bronstein is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in infection prevention and control. Currently serving as the Vice President of Infection Prevention & Control at Rochester Regional Health since July 2016, Melissa previously held the position of Senior Director of Infection Prevention at the same organization. Prior to that, Melissa worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center from January 2010 to June 2016 as the Manager of Infection Prevention, managing surveillance and policy communication for multiple hospitals. Earlier in their career, Melissa served as a Nurse Epidemiologist at Duke University Health System from January 1993 to January 2003. Melissa holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston University.
