Shane Nickerson

Shane Nickerson is an experienced human resources leader with a robust background in HR strategy and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of HR Strategy at Rochester Regional Health since June 2019, Shane is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the business objectives of Rochester General Hospital and Unity Hospital. Prior roles include Senior Director of Human Resources Operations and Human Resources Director at United Memorial Medical Center, where Shane focused on talent acquisition and retention strategies. Shane's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Monro, Inc., overseeing HR functions for approximately 8,500 employees, and various HR management roles at Exelis and Aon Hewitt, where Shane led teams and managed large-scale HR initiatives. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Alfred University.
