Shivani Gillon

Shivani Gillon, MD, is a resident doctor at Alameda Health System since June 2022, with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, San Francisco, obtained in 2022. Previously, Gillon served as a peer counselor and newsletter editor at the University of California, Los Angeles, where responsibilities included creating a weekly newsletter for counseling departments and co-presenting workshops to enhance student retention. Gillon also held positions as Director of Education for Project RISHI, where international collaborations focused on sustainable solutions in rural India, and as a clinical intern at the South Asian Heart Center, monitoring participants' health progression. In addition, Gillon worked as a Fall Ambassador at UCLA Health, promoting patient safety, and as a teaching assistant at The Harker School, supporting middle school enrichment classes. Gillon graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Economics from UCLA in 2018 and completed high school at The Harker School.
