As Vice President of Stakeholder Relations and Chief Communications Officer, Sabrina Divell works to enhance Unity Health Toronto’s reputation and awareness within the provincial health-care system and across the diverse communities we serve.
Sabrina began her career as a journalist, covering health and business for a variety of Torstar publications. She later joined the communications team at St. Joseph’s Health Centre where she held several progressively senior leadership roles over the span of 12 years. Since Unity Health’s integration in 2017, she has been working to combine communications efforts across the sites as well as leading the design and implementation of our network’s overall brand communications strategy, overseeing crisis and issues management, and stakeholder relations. She is a graduate of the Humber College Journalism program as well as the Cornell University Change Leadership and Executive Leadership Certificate Program, the Strategic Marketing Skills for Managers at York University’s Executive Education Centre Schulich School of Business, and has completed the Advanced Health Leadership Program at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
Throughout her career, Sabrina has been the recipient of several honours and awards, including the Gold Quill Award of Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators, APEX Grand Award and AVA Digital Gold Award.
