Mike Burens

Mike Burens has extensive work experience in financial systems and data governance. Mike has held director-level positions in multiple companies, including Univar Solutions, CDW, and Discover Financial Services. At Univar Solutions, they led the financial systems team and collaborated with various departments to fulfill business objectives. Mike also managed core financial systems and implemented controls and governance processes. Similarly, at CDW, they established the strategic roadmap for finance technology and directed a global team responsible for the administration and enhancement of financial systems. At Discover Financial Services, they implemented and managed financial systems and data governance, oversaw reporting capabilities for regulatory agencies, and provided financial planning and analysis for the technology organization. Prior to these roles, they had experience in financial and business analysis, financial accounting, and audit.

Mike Burens holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from the University of Dayton.
