Tony Gutierrez

Tony Gutierrez has extensive work experience in the chemical industry, holding various managerial and leadership positions. Tony started their career at Petrolite Corporation as a Technical Sales Representative and later took on the role of Technical Sales Representative II. Tony then joined Uniroyal Chemical as a Senior Technical Sales Representative, where they played a vital role in developing new sales and promoting product lines in the US and Canada. At Ashland Inc, Tony worked as a Senior Supply Manager and Marketing Manager, specializing in specialty chemicals. Tony also served as the Senior Product Manager for Specialty Chemicals, leading marketing and product management efforts. Tony continued their career at Nexeo Solutions, starting as a Senior Marketing Manager for New Business Development and later becoming the Director of Marketing for Industrial Markets. Tony'sresponsibilities included leading marketing campaigns, coordinating with sales teams, and adding strategic product lines to the company's portfolio. Currently, Tony holds the position of Senior Director of Global Business Development at Univar Solutions, where they oversee the business development team and works with suppliers to enhance the company's product offerings and support customer success.

Tony Gutierrez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Kansas in 1987. Tony also attended executive courses at Columbia University, Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, focusing on negotiation, marketing, financial management, and marketing strategy.
