Jorge Buckup

Mr. Buckup became President of the Company’s Latin America segment in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. Mr. Buckup joined Univar in February 2012 as Vice President, Finance of Univar Brazil, and served as Vice President, Finance of Latin America until November 2017. Prior to Univar, Mr. Buckup held the CFO role for the joint venture between Dow/Mitsu in Brazil. He previously spent 18 years in a variety of roles with Dow Chemical in both the Audit and the Accounting groups, as well as serving as the Business Finance global leader for the Engineering Plastics business. While at Dow, he lived and worked in Michigan for eight years and worked on-site with various projects on five continents. He also served as a member of the Ethics & Compliance Committee of Dow Chemical in Latin America. Mr. Buckup earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He has also completed a General Management program at the University of Michigan.
