Paul Akred

Paul Akred has extensive experience in sales management within the chemical distribution industry, currently serving as the Head of Sales for Univar Solutions since April 2006, leading sales teams in Belgium and The Netherlands, as well as a team of 24 sellers in the UK and Ireland. Akred's career at Univar includes roles such as Sales Manager and Business Development Manager for Surfactants, where responsibilities encompassed managing product teams, developing commercial opportunities, and providing technical solutions. Prior to Univar, Akred worked at Huntsman from September 1987 to March 2006, holding various sales and technical positions, ultimately as Sales Manager for multiple regions. Educational qualifications include a Level 5 Diploma in Sales & Key Account Management from ISMM and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Central Lancashire.
