Kazu Okuda, MD

Kazu Okuda, MD, is an accomplished leader in the field of mental health care, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Universal Brain since July 2022, where innovative products, including EEG headsets, are being developed to enhance diagnostic and treatment options for depression through neuroscience. Previously, Kazu Okuda was a Clinical Research Fellow in the Neuropsychiatry department at Kyushu University, and held a key position at Aillis, Inc. from May 2020 to April 2022, where responsibilities included fundraising and investor relations, successfully raising $20 million and leading clinical research efforts with a prestigious hospital in Tokyo. Kazu Okuda also gained experience as a Medical Doctor at The University of Tokyo Hospital in 2020 and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Kyushu University.
