Stewart Livesay has extensive experience in the agricultural industry, primarily in the tobacco sector. Stewart is currently serving as the Director of Agronomy Services at Universal Leaf Tobacco Company since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Philip Morris International as the Manager of Agricultural Services from 2013 to 2020. Before that, they were a Crop Specialist at BP Biofuels North America from 2010 to 2013. Stewart also held various positions at Altria, including Manager of International Leaf Procurement from 2008 to 2010 and Agronomist from 2005 to 2008. Stewart started their career as the Director of Agronomy at Alliance One from 1998 to 2005. Stewart's agricultural expertise began as a Cooperative Extension Agent for Agriculture at the University of Kentucky from 1995 to 1998.
Stewart Livesay attended Western Kentucky University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications as a Sustainability Specialist from the American Society of Agronomy, which they obtained in August 2016, and as a Certified Crop Advisor, which they obtained in February 2013.
