Carme Nolla Colomer has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Technical Office and Technical Workshop at Sisemed and as a Técnia de la División Biomédica at AMEUR Comercio Internacional. In 2014, they completed an Internship in Image Processing & Data Analysis at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - LASSIE LAB - CREB. In 2016, they began their PhD Candidate role in Image Processing and Data Analysis at the Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering - LASSIE LAB. In 2021, they began their role as Demand Forecaster at Sanofi, implementing new processes and tools related to a Supply Chain transformation program. In 2022, they began their role as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Universal Diagnostics SL.

Carme Nolla Colomer has a diverse educational background. Carme obtained a Grado in Bioingeniería e ingeniería biomédica from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2010-2014, followed by a Master en Ingeniería Biomédica from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2014-2015. Carme then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Image Processing and Data Analysis from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2016-2021, and is currently completing a Postgraduate Degree in Data Science and Big Data from the Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, Carme has obtained several certifications, including a 300h Yoga Teacher Training Ashtanga Vinyasa from the Spirit Sadhana School of Yoga in 2022, Computer Vision and Intro to deep learning from Kaggle in 2021, LAMP stack developer (Linux, Apache, MySQL, php) from Barcelona Activa in 2020, Introducción a la robótica educativa from Cibernàrium (MediaTic) Barcelona Activa in 2016, Image and video processing: From Mars to Hollywood with a stop at the hospital and Statistical Analysis of fMRI Data from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015.
