Alfiya Suleymanova

Alfiya Suleymanova currently serves as a Patent Scientist at Universal Display Corporation, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Alfiya was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of York (February 2019 - June 2022), focusing on the design, synthesis, and property investigation of Liquid Crystalline Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescent materials for OLED applications. Research experience includes roles as a Researcher at the I. Postovsky Institute of Organic Synthesis (September 2017 - January 2019) and a PhD Student at the Institute of Organic Synthesis, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (November 2012 - June 2018), where the emphasis was on designing luminescent complexes. Additional international experience includes working as a Guest Researcher at Universität Regensburg and Northumbria University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the I. Postovsky Institute, a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Ural Federal University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Birsk State Social and Pedagogical Academy.
