David Meng has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and network/virtualization engineering. David started their career in 1998 at Philips Electronics as a Principal Software Engineer, where they designed integrated receiver and decoder architecture and developed reference designs. In 1999, they joined Intel Corporation as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and lead architect, where they worked until 2016, contributing to various software projects. In 2016, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Senior Network/Virtualization Engineer, responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network and data center infrastructure. Since 2017, David has been working at Universal Electronics Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and at Universal Electronics Inc. as a Senior Firmware Engineer, contributing to software and firmware development.
David Meng obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Engineering from New Mexico State University. In addition, they obtained a C++ certification from TestDome in January 2017.
