Ive E. Velez-Rivera

Ive E. Velez-Rivera is an experienced IT professional with a comprehensive background in operations and infrastructure management, currently serving as the Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure at Universal Insurance Group since July 2011. Previously, Velez-Rivera held key positions at Policia de Puerto Rico and MMM Holdings, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing customer support and managing IT teams in highly demanding environments. With early career roles at El Nuevo Dia, Merck, Sharp & Dohme, Information Systems Consultants, and AT&T Bell Labs, Velez-Rivera has developed expertise in technology improvements, system analysis, and software maintenance. Velez-Rivera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de P.R - Mayaguez.
