Elizabeth Hansen

Elizabeth Hansen has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Elizabeth'smost recent role is as the Chief Actuary at Universal Insurance Holdings Inc (UVE) since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company for over 13 years, from May 2009 to July 2022. Before that, they held various positions at Guy Carpenter, including Managing Director of Global Instrat Operations Manager and Managing Director of Instrat Regional Manager. Elizabeth'sresponsibilities at Guy Carpenter involved overseeing analytical capabilities such as Actuarial, Catastrophe Modeling, ERM, and Financial Modeling. Elizabeth also worked at Benfield as the Senior Vice President, managing the Financial Modeling and Actuarial Division. Elizabeth began their career at John Deere, where they served as an Actuary, leading pricing and reserving for the Transportation Services division and later as an Actuarial Analyst at John Deere Insurance Co.

Elizabeth Hansen attended Luther College from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics.
