Nigel de Silva

Nigel De Silva is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at UK P&I Club since June 2018. With extensive experience at Thomas Miller since March 2003 as Chief Actuary, Nigel built a dedicated actuarial team providing a range of actuarial, risk, and IT services for specialist insurers, while also assisting executive teams with strategic planning and risk management. Prior experience includes a managerial role at PricewaterhouseCoopers from February 1998 to March 2003, focusing on financial modelling, corporate finance, asset-liability management, and pensions consulting. Nigel holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1994 and 1997.
