Emmy G. Parada

Emmy G. Parada, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Emmy G. started their career at GUIDANT LLC C/O BOSTON SCIENTIFIC CORPORATION in 1997, where they worked as a Human Resources Business Partner until 1999. Emmy G. then joined Loomis as a Human Resources Manager from 1999 to 2003. In 2004, they joined MAPFRE as the Regional Director of Human Resources, NA, where they oversaw Human Resources operations across multiple facilities in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Emmy G. was responsible for implementing global HR initiatives, providing strategic staffing plans, managing compensation and benefits, conducting training and development programs, and handling labor relations. In 2016, they moved on to Universal North America as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, NA, where they are currently employed.

Emmy G. Parada, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management with a minor in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, from 1986 to 1991. Emmy G. has also acquired additional certifications, including a Diploma in Bioneuroemocion from the Enric Corbera Institute, obtained in April 2023, and the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM, obtained in March 2022.
