Chris Dyer has a diverse range of work experience in the music and entertainment industry. Chris started their career as an Entertainment Manager at Hard Rock Cafe Live in 2001 and later worked as an Assistant Producer at About Face Media Ltd. In 2006, they became a Product & Business Development Manager at All Dig Down, where they built relationships with content providers and advertisers. Chris then joined Evolution Media UK as a Creative Development Director in 2008. In 2012, they worked as the UK Manager for Zimbalam at Believe Digital, focusing on marketing strategy and brand positioning. From 2013 to 2015, they held various roles at Sony Music Entertainment, including Project Manager & Marketing Strategy at The X Factor - Syco Entertainment and Head of Digital at CMG Label Group/ Sony Music UK. In 2015, they became a Senior Marketing Manager at Ministry of Sound Australia. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Marketing & Artist Development at Universal Music Australia, where they have held various roles since 2016. Overall, Chris Dyer has demonstrated extensive experience and expertise in marketing, project management, and digital strategy within the music industry.
Chris Dyer attended Buckinghamshire New University from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Diploma in Music Industry Management. Prior to that, they attended St. Mary's CBGS from 1995 to 2002 and achieved 3 A Levels and 10 GCSEs. Recently, Chris also obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2020.
