Gabriel Coffey

Gabriel Coffey is an experienced video journalist and director, currently working at The Philadelphia Inquirer since April 2023 and serving as Director of Video at Universal Music Group since September 2019. With a strong background in video production, Coffey previously held positions such as Digital Video Producer at WHYY, overseeing short documentaries, and Director of Video at Fame House, managing video operations for UMG labels. Additional experience includes freelance videography for various clients, video production at URBN, and earlier roles at Bradford Media Group and NU Campaign. Coffey holds degrees in Film Criticism and Professional Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and has completed studies at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
