Jennifer Avery has a strong background in strategic insights and consumer research, with a focus on the theme park industry. Jennifer has held senior leadership roles at Universal Destinations & Experiences, NBCUniversal, and Universal Orlando Resort, where they have led primary research functions and provided strategic consulting services. Jennifer has also gained experience in shopper insights at SmartRevenue, where they held various roles, including Senior Vice President of Shopper Insights. Additionally, they have served as an instructor at the University of South Florida and worked as a graduate assistant at the Center for Urban Transportation Research.
Jennifer Avery earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Psychology, and Anthropology from the University of Miami from 1996 to 2000. Jennifer then went on to pursue their Masters in Anthropology at the University of South Florida from 2000 to 2005. Jennifer continued their education at the University of South Florida, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology from 2005 to 2012.
