Ellen Shallman

Ellen Shallman serves as the Executive Vice President of Business Affairs at Universal Pictures since June 2006, where responsibilities include supporting the Chairman of NBCU Business Affairs & Ops on strategic transactions such as film financings, mergers and acquisitions, first look deals, and all-rights sales. Prior to this role, Ellen Shallman held positions as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Business Affairs at Universal Pictures, in addition to practicing as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from January 2002 to May 2006 and serving as a Law Clerk for Honorable Harry L. Hupp from September 2000 to September 2001. Ellen Shallman obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Stanford Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History of Art from Yale University.
