Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson is an experienced animation and film industry professional with a diverse background in directing, producing, and overseeing production processes. Currently serving as Supervising Director at Universal Pictures since March 2018, Kevin has previously held significant roles including Director for the feature film "Trouble" at 3QU Media and Supervising Producer for the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" series at Bagdasarian Productions. Additional experience includes directing for "The Jungle Book" at DQ Entertainment, Animation Director for "Alvin and the Chipmunks Chipwrecked" at Fox Studios, and Head of Story at Imagi Animation Studios. Kevin's foundational career began at Warner Bros. Entertainment as an animator and character designer. Educational credentials include studying at the California Institute of the Arts and earning a Bachelor of Science in Education with a math minor from Southern Oregon University.
