Jan Stripek

Jan Stripek is a highly skilled visual effects professional with extensive experience in matchmoving and digital compositing. Currently serving as a Matchmove Artist at UPP a.s. since August 2022, Jan has worked on high-profile projects such as "Barbie," "Gran Turismo," and "The Last Of Us." Prior roles include Digital Compositor at PIXOMONDO, contributing to productions like "Carnival Row" and "House of the Dragon," as well as work at Magic Lab on films like "Wrath of Man." Previous experience spans multiple positions in various companies, refining expertise in camera tracking, greenscreen keying, and shot finalization. Jan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Mendel University in Brno and has furthered education in visual effects through FXPHD.
