Justin Winters, CPCU, AIC has had a diverse range of work experiences. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Assistant Superintendent at Levitt and Sons until 2007. Following that, they joined the US Navy and served in the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion from 2007 to 2011. In 2014, they began their insurance career as a Field Adjuster at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company. Justin then progressed through various roles within the company, including Field Supervisor, Large Loss Supervisor, and Large Loss Manager. Since January 2021, Winters has been serving as the Director of Catastrophe Operations at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company. In 2016, they also took on the role of Claims Director at American Platinum Property and Casualty Insurance Company, where they are still currently employed.
Justin Winters, CPCU, AIC, has a diverse education history. Justin earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University in 2012, followed by a master's degree in Criminology from the same institution in 2014. Additionally, Justin obtained a certification as a Certified Residential Contractor from the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board in 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes in May 2020. Justin also holds an AIC designation from The Institutes.
