Srinivasarao Kumpatla, PhD

Srinivasarao Kumpatla, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Srinivasarao currently holds the position of Design Engineer at Universal Quantum, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Phoelex as an IC Package Development professional from 2019 to 2020. Srinivasarao also served in multiple roles at Qualcomm, including IC Package Architecture and Design from 2017 to 2019, and IC Package Development from 2015 to 2017. Before joining Qualcomm, they worked at CSR Plc as an IC Package Development specialist from 2007 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Srinivasarao worked at Heriot-Watt University from 2002 to 2007 in the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences. Srinivasarao also gained experience at Ovum from 1999 to 2002 in the Telecoms Networks Infrastructure Department, and at British Telecom Laboratories from 1998 to 1999 in the Mobility Engineering Division.

Srinivasarao Kumpatla obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from UCL between 1994 and 1997. Srinivasarao then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Telecommunications Technology at Aston University from 1997 to 1999. Later, they attended Heriot-Watt University from 2002 to 2009, where they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optoelectronic Devices and Packaging in Information Photonics.
