Kim Melnychuk

Kim Melnychuk is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis across various industries. Currently serving as Manager Financial Reporting and Planning at Universal Rail Systems Ltd. since September 2017, Kim has previously held similar managerial roles at Champion Petfoods LP and URS Flint. With a strong focus on budgeting processes, forecast submissions, and adherence to rigorous reporting requirements, Kim has demonstrated expertise in IFRS conversion, custom report building, and the transition of consolidation processes. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Controller and Sr. Financial Analyst at Willbros, as well as various accounting roles at Fountain Tire. Kim holds an educational background from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, completing studies between 1990 and 1992.
